THE FIRST STEP
Initial Evaluation
We’ll start with an initial evaluation to get a clear sense of where you’re at.
This evaluation is a vital first step to understanding any challenges you’re facing and pinpointing the behaviours you want to improve. We’ll discuss your expectations, your goals, and how you’d like to see your relationship with your dog developing. This can be done over the phone, but in most cases, seeing your dog in action makes all the difference.
If you’re ready to dive into training, I can often combine the assessment with your first session to get things moving right away.

DAY TRAINING INTENSIVE

STAY & LEARN IMMERSIVE EXPERIENCE
Three Days of In-Depth, Hands-On Training
For those travelling from outside the area or those seeking a fully immersive experience, the Stay & Learn programme offers a unique opportunity to dive deeply into training. You’ll stay nearby and engage in three days of structured, personalised coaching with me, observing and participating in intensive training sessions with your dog.
Includes a pre-session consultation, three full days of immersive training, and a follow-up video call for further support. This is designed for owners ready for a transformative experience, combining hands-on learning with lasting techniques.

SOCIAL TRAINING WALKS
Real-World Practice, Structured and Supportive
Join a structured, guided walk that reinforces calm behaviour, lead manners, and impulse control. It’s socialisation done right, helping your dog gain confidence and resilience.

If walks feel like a tug-of-war, Walk’n’Train is here to help. Designed specifically to improve lead manners in a real-world setting, this service offers targeted support over a short, focused period of 2-3 weeks. I’ll work with your dog to replace or complement your usual walking routine, honing their skills to make walks more enjoyable and manageable.
Note: This service is ideal for refining lead manners and is not intended for addressing deeper behavioural issues.

Social training walks are designed to help your dog practice essential skills in real-world situations, with the added benefit of a structured environment. Whether your dog needs to polish up their lead manners or gain confidence in group settings, these walks provide the perfect balance of socialisation and training.
Dog attacks are, unfortunately, a growing concern. Whether you or your dog have experienced a negative encounter, or you simply want to be prepared for anything, my Defensive Handling sessions equip you with the skills and confidence to handle unexpected situations. This service is distinct from standard pet training and we only proceed after a comprehensive assessment to ensure the dog’s suitability and well-being.
Focuses on teaching controlled bite work, situational awareness, and defensive tactics. This is serious, responsible training for the right dog-owner pair, built with safety and respect at the forefront. This programme is tailored to dogs with specific temperaments and is designed for owners who require a high level of control and responsiveness.
